A Brilliant Answer on Girls Dressing!

Patriarchy and feminism are two major topics that become a reason for most of the discussions. Many women blame the patriarchy for dressing up according to the gender they belong to and some purposely dress up like a girl because they are feminist.

Recently an artist Kiana Mcmillian posted an adorable illustration of two girls on her blog that grabbed many people’s attention. The illustration was showing the changes in the style of a girl from childhood to the time she grows up. During a kid she is dressed up like a boy and after she becomes a big girl she is wearing a dress. This post resulted in different reactions from people and a big debate.

One of the social media user replied on her post that women who dress girly are victims of patriarchy. Immediately after this Kiana brilliantly answered him and gave him an amazing answer. She wrote:

One of the user also replied that some women are ashamed of being too girly. In few hours this post went viral and a lot of people came forward to defend Kiana. They supported her views that every woman should be allowed to dress however they want to without others judging them for their decision.
