You might have seen cute pictures and videos of cute dog Boo, all over social media, but this would not happen anymore. As the cutest dog Boo, the Pomeranian died recently and his death broke the hearts of many dog lovers.

His owners posted:

Boo’s Facebook page grew slowly to 16.5 million after 2010. Boo has three books on his name: Boo: The Life Of The World's Cutest Dog (2011); Boo: Little Dog In The Big City (2012); and Boo ABC: A To Z With The World's Cutest Dog (2013).

Boo earned US$1 million (S$1.35 million) a year from various sources such as his books and other partnerships.

Jiff is a Pomeranian who has over 8.9 million followers on Instagram. He appeared in Katy Perry's music video for Dark Horse in 2014 and also has his own emoji line called Jiffmoji. It is said that he makes US$5.6 million a year.

Tuna is a Chiweenie a cross between a Chihuahua and a dachshund. He is famous for his recessed lower jawline and wrinkly neck. He has about two million followers on Instagram. He became famous after being featured online for his cartoonish looks and heartwarming rescue story.

• Marnie

Marnie is a 17-year-old Shih Tzu and is known for her signature head tilt and tongue that always hangs out her mouth. The permanent slight tilt is because of vestibular disease. She has two million followers on Instagram.

Maru is a Shiba Inu who has over 2.5 million followers on Instagram. His owner started posting his pictures after the earthquake hit Japan to make people happy. He has been featured in advertisements and photo collections as well. Maru has a dedicated museum as well.
