Meghan Markle’s father will not attend the royal wedding!

Meghan Markle's father will not walk his daughter down the aisle because he is due to have a heart operation. "I hate the idea of missing one of the greatest moments in history and walking my daughter down the aisle," he was quoted as saying.
Thomas suffered a heart attack last week, and doctors told him that he would need to undergo a surgery this week only. He further reported that the heart attack has caused major damage to him.
He said, “They (doctors) will go in and clear blockage, repair damage and put a stent where it is needed”.
Thomas also said that according to him the reason of this heart attack is the open letter his son, Thomas Markle Jr. wrote to Harry two weeks ago, warning him against marrying his half-sister Meghan.
Over the past few days, Thomas’s appearance at Harry and Meghan’s wedding has been in doubt. Earlier he said he would not attend the wedding in order to avoid embarrassing situations at the wedding. Later he shared that he is receiving text messages from Meghan that she wanted him to attend the wedding.
Kensington palace originally announced that Meghan will be walking down the aisle with her father on May 4.
