People Mourns the Death of the Internet’s Favorite Grumpy Cat

Grumpy cat was the popular Internet cat that made many people smile with its permanent scowl. but the cat encountered health complications and passed away . As per a post shared by the verified account of the cat, the 7-year-old died due to complications from a urinary tract infection.

The cat’s real name was Tardar Sauce or Tard who became famous for her frown face and gained millions of followers over the years. From memes to gif’s the grumpy cat was all over the social media and even launched an empire worth millions.

The account which announced the cat’s dead stated: “Despite care from top professionals, as well as her loving family, Grumpy encountered complications from a recent urinary tract infection that unfortunately became too tough for her to overcome. She passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, May 14, at home in the arms of her mommy,”.
