Tourist Clings on for his Life!

Nov 29, 2018

Most of us love doing adventure activities, but sometimes they can end up giving the worst experiences. A boy from USA had a horrifying two-minute long flight in Switzerland after discovering he had not been attached to a hang glider. In the video  recorded by the camera mounted on the hang glider, it seems Chris Gursky will fall off within seconds of taking off. But he hangs on as the pilot desperately tries to get the glider back to the ground. He suffered a fracture in his wrist and tore his left bicep in the fall. The dramatic footage was uploaded to YouTube on Monday, but it was not immediately clear when or where the incident happened in Switzerland.

Check out the video:

It would take a lot of time to recover from the mental trauma that the incident might have caused him.

This terrifying footage shows holidaymaker Chris Gursky clinging to the hang-glider for more than two minutes.

He wrote on Youtube: My first time Hang Gliding turned into a near death experience as my safety harness was never hooked to the Glider.

"For 2 Min. 14 seconds I had to hang on for my life! The landing was a rough one, but I lived to tell the story."

This happened after the pilot forgot to hook him up to the aircraft and he was left dangling over a mountainside. This terrifying video shows Chris and the pilot running and setting off from a 4,000ft mountain edge.

Chris posted on Facebook: "My body weight shifted straight down and I found myself hanging on for my life. He further added: "I ended up holding on bar with the left hand and the lower part of his leg with the right when we were nearing the ground. I looked down to see my feet hit first, which ripped me off at about 45 mph as it was a hot landing and I was under the landing gear.

Thankfully, Chris is fine now!
