A famous succulent houseplant with fleshy, oval-shaped leaves and woody stems symbolises great friendship, luck, and prosperity. That is why they are considered great for gifting. If you also have a jade plant at your home, but it keeps shedding, then you need to take good care of it. Here are some ways to take care of your jade plant:

Jade plants require at least 4 hours of direct sunlight each day.Young plants should be kept in bright, indirect sunlight; large, well-established jade plants can handle more direct sunlight.

Jade plants grow best at room temperature.

Water it correctly, pour the water deeply, then wait until the soil has mostly dried out before you water it again. Do this once a week.

Do not splash water on the leaves while watering, as this might expose them to rot in a humid environment.

In winters, keep them out of drafty areas.

The best pot for a jade plant is clay, so plant them in it.

After a month, feed jade plants. Just don’t fertilize them during the fall and winter months.

Remove off dead or shriveled branches.
