We have heard it many times that age is just a number. But some  have proven this correct as well. There are people who are never low on energy and are full of zeal. Whether it is dancing, gym or running, they can do everything with grace and passion. Check out the videos below:

A 91-year-old Indiana woman’s dance moves celebrating her last therapy are winning hearts.

When they say they ‘celebrate life’ at Magnolia Springs Southpointe, boy do they mean it! Miss Julia is a long time resident, who recently returned from a hospital stay and is graduating from therapy services with Golden Age. She’s ditched the walker for her dancing shoes, and this morning she said, “You’ve got me feeling so good, I want to dance! Do you mind if I do the jitterbug to celebrate? I’m loving life!” Of course we don’t mind, Julia! We love it and we’re all celebrating with you! Did we mention she’s 91 years young?

Former Pro Dion Friedland doing seated dumbbell raises, one of the most effective exercises for developing great delts. Dion does these as an important part of every shoulder day workout. Important to note the following: Dion keeps constant tension on the delts by never going all the way down. He stops away from his body and immediately commences the next rep. All reps are to just above parallel to fully exercise the delts and Dion resists on the downward movement. He keeps his elbows bent to better isolate the side delts and if the arms are kept straight the triceps will do some of the work. He does this as a seated movement instead of standing to resist any body movement to assist raising the dumbbells. After completing 12 reps he picks up slightly lighter dumbbells for an additional 8 reps. Dion then stands (not shown in this video) and without any rest picks up a much heavier pair of dumbbells for an additional 12 reps of partial lateral raises moving the dumbbells about 12 inches away from his sides. He always does 4 sets like this (30 reps per set adding the 3 movements together). Dion loves his shoulder workouts which consist of 32 to 35 sets usually completed in 75 minutes. 13 January, 2020 Virgin Houghton.
