Recently Nirav Modi, the billionaire diamond trader came to light for allegedly cheating a popular government bank of crores of rupees and leaving the country. He allegedly also changed his citizenship status to Non-Resident Indian (NRI) before the incident came to light. This is not the first time that a scam has occurred.
