Motherhood is one of the most beautiful times in a women’s life and we all should respect it. In spite of being in a modernized world still there are some who feel breastfeeding in front of everyone is shameful but, what could be more important than a little one’s hunger? So let’s praise these super mommies’ and see some of such heart touching moments captured while feeding their babies.

A bit of a different post on here today to shake it up a little. For those who don’t know, this week is #internationalbreastfeedingweek Before I had Mia I said I wanted to breastfeed but wasn’t going to sit sobbing over it if I couldn’t. I wanted to do it so desperately but I didn’t want the struggle of feeding to taint those first magical days with out girl! Luckily for me she latched on great and despite a little normal weight loss and a bit of discomfort for a couple of weeks, we are still successfully feeding today 6 months on (I will admit I have cried over it though at times!) I love our journey but also have the utmost respect for all mothers regardless of how they feed their babies! You have to do what is right and works for you, a fed baby is a happy baby! The one thing that does get me though is how readily people ask ‘when are you going to stop?’....I mean no one ever asks that to someone giving their baby a bottle. It just seems a little nuts to me that people are so concerned over the timescale that people breastfeed and yet no one bats an eyelid at how long a baby stays on the bottle for. It’s an interesting thing. To all you parents out there, well done for raising your tiny humans and feeding them whichever works best for you. We are all doing our best. Props to you all! ?? #baby #motherhood #breastfeeding #bottlefeeding #fedisbest #internationalbreastfeedingweek #youdoyou #rasinghumans

We love Breastfeeding! It has so many benefits and it really is the healthiest option for Baby, only to name a few:? ? ? The rich pre-milk fluid of the first few days, colostrum, provides immunity to a wide? range of diseases – and its protection lasts for months!? ? Colostrum is so nutrient rich that one teaspoonful is the equivalent of 50ml of milk.? ? Colostrum contains vitamin K, which protects baby against bleeding.? ? Breast milk decreases the likelihood of digestive problems like constipation and colic.? ? Continued breastfeeding reduces risk of infection and illnesses like asthma, eczema, ear infections and diarrhoea due to the anti-bodies it contains.? ?There is less chance of digestive discomfort – breast milk is easy to digest, perfectly balanced, and adjusts to meet Baby’s changing needs, e.g. there will be more carbohydrates when Baby starts to crawl.? ? Excellent brain development is promoted due to the perfect nutritional balance and the endocrine triggers for ideal maturation.? •? •? •? •? •? •? •? •? #mommy #mother #mama #familytime #related #children #son #mom #momlife #normalizebreastfeeding #moms #breastmilk #worldbreastfeedingweek #toddler #breastisbest #babywearing #breastfeed #pregnancy #pregnant #motherhood #parenting #breastfeeding #parenthood #parents #parentlife #mumlife #fatherhood #momsofinstagram #toddlerlife #postpartum

Early humans breastfed for up to 6 years, and still do! Did you breastfeed past toddlerhood? ??? I will not conform to societal standards who try to shame women for feeding a baby the way God designed her to. It is not a mother’s responsibility to bear the burden of American cultures hyper sexualization of breasts. It is not a mothers responsibility to hide a biologically necessary “non-sin” just in case someone might* sin. It is not a mother or child’s responsibility to suffer in order to protect your comfort. Our bodies are not shameful. Feeding our children is not shameful (or “immodest”). It was the offending eye to be plucked out, not the offending breast to be lopped off... so let’s put the onus where it belongs. — Public breastfeeding should be so common that when men, women and children see it, they don’t even blink twice????????

World Breastfeeding Week ???????? I'm so proud of my body, not only for nourishing two boys before Jesse but for hitting my own personal milestone today.???? Today marks 13 months of breastfeeding Jesse, a child with multiple allergies. 11 months of this journey I have not had any dairy or soya and I've not had any egg for 10months. Being able to provide my child with nourishment and comfort is just the most magical feeling. For anyone out there questioning if they should try remember the first few weeks can be tough but there are incredible support networks out there to help you. Breast feeding is free and will save you loads of money! Dad's can bond in so many other ways - feeding is not there only chance (Jesse is a totally daddy's boy) - Don't let Anyone tell you that you're being selfish. I've only ever had 1 negative comment when feeding in public - I feed anywhere and everywhere - I don't cover up as Jesse is far to nosey plus I wouldn't eat with a blanket over my head! Anyone out there who is unsure, try it, you can stop at any point but you never know you might surprise yourself ???? . . #worldbreastfeedingweek #breastfeeding #feedinh #13monthsbreastfeeding #ukbreastfeeding #breastfeedingawareness #breastfeedinginpublic #breastfeed #breastfeedingmom #breastfeedingphotography
