Immigrant Who Saved a Boy’s Life Offered Job

A Malian immigrant dubbed Spiderman for scaling four storeys to save a child dangling from a balcony in Paris. Mamoudou Gassama has been granted French citizenship and offered a job as a fireman for his brave act. Mamoudou met with France’s President Macron at the Elysee Palace after the incident and was praised for his heroic efforts. He has since been compared to the Marvel superhero Spiderman.
His video where he can be seen climbing the building in seconds to reach the child has been viewed millions of time online and we have the video for you. Gassama told the French broadcaster BFMTV that he reacted on instinct.

Mamoudou told the reporters that he saw all these people shouting and cars sounding their horns. "I climbed up like that and, thank God, I saved the child. When we went into the living room, I started to shake and could hardly stand up."

Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris, praised Gassama on Twitter.

The Mayor further added that his heroic act is an example to all citizens and that the city of Paris will obviously be very keen to support him in his efforts to settle in France.
