Immunity plays an important role in our overall health. And in this pandemic, it is necessary to pay attention to our immune system. The gut is the center of the health and acts as a guard to the rest of the body and trains the immune system as well. During COVID times it is important to boost the immune system to stay protected. And to do that you must make some healthy changes in your daily routine. 

Get enough sleep as sleep and immunity are closely related so you need 6 hours of sound sleep to have a better immune system.

If you want to avoid getting sick then include protein in your diet. Eat fish, meat, eggs and protein rich foods.

Foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes are rich in nutrients and antioxidants, which helps in making your immune system healthy. So include all this in your diet.

Avoid unhealthy snacking. You may lay hands on all types of snacks but avoid having junk food.

Stress and anxiety are extremely dangerous for your immune system and your overall health. So don’t take stress. Even if you are stressed, meditate and breathe in and out.

Healthy fats, like those found in extra virgin olive oil and oily sea fish can boost your body’s immunity.

The refined sugar and carbs contribute to obesity, and obesity can increase your risk of getting sick. So limit your sugar intake.

Drink herbal tea or green tea once a day
