Torture is basically brutal ways to treat someone in a manner that causes them pain and there are many torture techniques that exist. Some methods also include the use of rats, spikes, knife, boiling oil or worse than this. In the past human invented horrible ways to torture till death.We had goosebumps while doing this story, check out to find out why
• Boiling to death
In this method, the person was slowly lowered into boiling wax, oil or water. They did not feel the pain immediately instead the person experiences the painful sensation of their outer layers of the skin getting destroyed.
• The Brazen Bull
This method was used in ancient Greece, the victim was placed inside the bull and fire was placed underneath, the person would then be slowly roasted to death.
• Impalement
Traditionally in this method, the person was placed over a pole. The stake was sharpened and planted in the ground then the victim would be placed over the spike as it was inserted into the vagina or rectum.
• Coffin torture
In the middle Ages people preferred this torture method. In this, the victim was placed inside a metal cage which was hardly the size of the human body.
• Guillotine
In this form of execution, a sharp blade was attached to a rope and the person’s head was placed in the middle of the frame as the blade dropped separating his head from the body.
• Breast Ripper
This one was specifically designed for women.The instrument consisted of two large pointed prongs that would tear into women’s breasts and rip the tissue clean off of the body. .
• Saw torture
In this the victim is hung upside down and the torturer used the saw to part the victim’s body into two halves.
• Hanged, drawn and quartered
The penalty for the highest crime in medieval times was to be hanged, drawn and quartered in public. In this method, the victim was dragged in a wooden frame and they were hanged until near death followed by disembowelment where the entrails and genitalia were burned. Then the person was divided into four parts and beheaded.
Thank god we live in a modern world where these techniques are are no more used.
