These Marine Worms Leave Netizens Amused

Thousands of phallic shaped sea creatures were seen near California beach following a winter storm. People living around the area were quick to notice it and shared the pictures on social media.
The penis fish, otherwise known as fat innkeeper worms, accumulated in large numbers and were washed away on the surface. A recent storm in Northern California caused these 10-inch creatures to come up at the surface.
These creatures generally feed on bacteria, plankton and other small creatures. Their existence dates back to 300 million years.
