Hong Kong Porn Site Support Protesters

Popular pornographic video sharing site ThisAV shut up shop displaying a message on their homepage that encouraged users to attend the “life or death” protests instead of “jerking off at home.”
Protestors believed that the bill would allow China to encroach on their rights.
People are protesting but two local porn sites think there is alot of content to give, so they’re doing what they can to push these fence-sitters outdoors.
One of them is AVO1 who blocked its services last week. The website now shows no videos. Instead, it displays a message saying that, if people weren’t happy about it, they should approach the Legislative Council to 'find answers'.
Another website is ThisAV. Instead of punches they have posted a riddle: “life or death” instead of “jacking off”.

But both websites have come back online, either because they saw enough turnout or because they couldn’t lose revenue indefinitely. However, AVO1 still displays a message that says, "If you're a Hong Kong police officer, relative, or supporter, please leave this site."

It’s a bold move from a direction you probably wouldn’t expect. And yet, this isn’t the first time in Hong Kong’s history that the porn industry has made a resounding political statement. It happened earlier in 1989. Back in 1989, local softcore porn magazine Lung Pao supported the students protest.
