Woman Drove into a River after Mistaking Her Gas for Break Pedal

What if instead of brake you step into the accelerator? Isn’t this scary but at times no matter how expert you are, some unexpected things occur which results in severe consequences. Recently a 64 year old lady from the City of Hackensack got her car washed but what happened next was something unexpected. She accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake pedal and within some minutes her car went into the river.
The video of this dangerous incidence got shared on facebook by the City of Hackensack Fire Department.The car, a Mercedes M-Class, was seen being driven off the edge of a parking area into the river.

As per the reports a 41-year-old Samaritan dived into the water to pull out the driver and a woman passenger from the car. After that, fire-fighters also arrived at the location and helped in the rescue.One of the people in the car was shifted to a hospital with minor injuries. The Hackensack police Captain Nicole Foley told NJ.com, “There are no physical barricades in place to prevent vehicles from driving into the area that leads to where the car drove into the water.” Immediately this video went viral and got flooded with comments online. While some wondered why a guard rail was missing, others joked about the passengers in the car wanting to go boating.
