Do You Want to Try This Butter Chicken Cake?

Bakers are whipping up hyper-realistic cakes that look like fruits, household objects, and more and recently a popular artist created a desi delicacy as a cake. Natalie Sideserf from ‘Sideserf Cake Studio’ came up with a cake inspired by everyone’s favorite Indian dish, the Butter Chicken. Check out the pictures below:
Yes she made an entire bowl of the delicious North Indian dish into a cake. While demonstrating how she made the realistic and edible ‘Butter Chicken Cake’ she says that it’s her love letter to her friends in India.
She first made the serving bowl by stacking layers of cake, then giving its shape and covering it with buttercream. She completes the bowl by enveloping the cake with brown modeling chocolate and adding some intricate details to it.
She then made chicken chunks using cake scraps that were placed on the cake bowl. To resemble the rich and creamy gravy of the authentic dish she used strawberry sauce.
